It seems that the majority of the population are unsatisfied with their jobs. They feel stuck in their current position for whatever reason. It also tends to make them very unhappy people outside of the work environment. This isn't a definite thing, but it happens quite a bit.

First of all, there is a difference between a romantic with a lower case "r" and a capitalized "R". When I say Romantic, I am referring to the literary and artistic movement that occurred in the late 18th century and the beginning of the 19th century. Charles Baudelaire defined Romanticism as such, "Romanticism is precisely situated neither in choice of subject nor exact truth, but in a way of feeling."

With that being said, I consider myself to be a Romantic, as I know many others do too. Other than the obvious Romantic careers as a painter, composer, and a writer, photography is also a Romantic field. I believe this to be one of the most fulfilling career choices for a true Romantic. Just think about it: being able to capture those memories and amazing moments on film. Being able to have that physical representation of someone's moment; a piece of their history.

Not only is photography emotionally fulfilling for the Romantics, but it can also earn a pretty penny. Some are photographers just on the side while others make it their career. For those that work hard at it, they can reach the top echelons of photography, and not only find happiness in their job, but be able to support themselves while doing something they feel is worthwhile.

Whether you are a Romantic or not, it is simple to find the career that will be the most fulfilling ot you personally. You just have to do a little research; find out what type of person you are. Even if you can't switch careers at this point in your life, you could pick it up as a hobby. Whether it is a wedding photographer or a Utah attorney photographer (as is the case in my region), there is a purpose in pictures. Either way, your life will hold new meaning.
